Hi-Banks resort is family owned and operated on Fish Lake. Fish Lake is a reservoir lake that was created by damming the Beaver River in the middle 1920’s. Covering over 3000 acres, Fish Lake offers a wide variety of structure for all kinds of game fish. Hi-Banks is also located only minutes away from the beautiful Cloquet River.
Hi-Banks Resort was established in the late 1940’s and immediately became a hotspot for local fisherman. Fish Lake is largely undeveloped and offers beautiful scenic lakeshores. Large Walleyes (4 to 8 lbs) are common. Every year 6 or more Walleyes in the 10 to 13 lb class are registered at Hi-Banks.
Fish Lake is also a popular lake for Panfish. Both Bluegills and Crappie are above average size. Every September the lake is known for outstanding Crappie fishing and has been featured in popular outdoor magazines.

LODGING
We offer a 1-bedroom Jacuzzi Suite W/fireplace, 2-3 bedroom cabins W/fireplaces, and 1-2 bedroom cabin. All cabins have spectacular lake views with large sliding glass doors and new windows throughout. All our cabins have full baths and the one bedroom suite is handicapped accessible. All of our cabins are only steps from the lakeshore. We also have plenty of docking that also offers fun fishing for the kids without getting in a boat.

To reserve a cabin you need a one night non-refundable deposit. Credit card required for reservations.
Our cabins are reserved for one week stays during peak months (Jun-Aug). Two night minimums are normally required during off-peak (Sep-May). A one night deposit plus a valid credit card are required for holding reservations.
Cabin Deposit and Cancellation policy :
· We require $300 down for a week cabin rental.
· We require first nights lodging amount for any stay of less than seven days.
· If cancellation notice is given 90 days or more in advance then deposit is refunded minus a
$50 processing fee. (partial groups don’t get refunds).
· If cancellation notice is given less than 90 days in advance, deposit is only refunded if lodging
Unit is filled for same time period.
Camping, full hook-ups are available upon request. All camping must be paid for full in advance.
